Explore the stunning Cordillera Blanca as you embark on a memorable journey to Lake 69 from Huaraz. Prepare to immerse yourself in an extraordinary glacial scenery that promises to leave a lasting impression!

Lake 69 Journey

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Huaraz between 5:00 and 5:30 am, followed by a bus ride towards Huascaran National Park, taking around an hour and a half.

Upon arrival, we will disembark and commence a captivating hike. As we make our way up, you'll be surrounded by the vibrant flora and fauna that are typical of this Peruvian region. Keep an eye out, and you might just catch a glimpse of a puna partridge or the majestic Andean condor, a bird that the Incas believed to be immortal!

After approximately three hours of hiking, we will reach our ultimate goal: Lagoon 69. The moment you behold its stunning turquoise waters, you will undoubtedly fall under its spell. Here, you’ll have an hour of leisure time to wander around and savor a well-deserved meal (not included).

If you’re feeling adventurous enough to take a dip in the lake, be prepared for the chilly temperatures! Once our exploration comes to an end, we will make our way back to the park's entrance, where our bus awaits to return us to our accommodations.

The projected arrival time back in Huaraz is around 8 pm.
