Huacachina Dune Buggy & Sandboarding Experience

Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Ica, followed by a journey into the stunning Ica desert, situated just outside the bustling city limits.

Once we arrive, our guide will share insights about the renowned Huacachina Oasis before embarking on an exciting buggy ride across the sandy expanse. While cruising over the dunes, take the chance to capture the striking natural beauty surrounding you. From the summits of the dunes sculpted by the winds, the Peruvian Andes will grace your view on the horizon.

After exploring the eastern sections of the Andes, we will make a stop at a series of dunes to engage in the thrill of sandboarding, an exhilarating pastime in this region! Glide down the golden sands on a specially designed board and feel the thrill akin to flight... a moment of excitement that will stay with you!

Following our sandboarding escapade, we'll make our way back to the Huacachina lagoon, traversing the scenic desert landscape once more.

At the conclusion of this memorable experience, you will be returned to your hotel in Ica.

Pickup Information

This activity includes pickup exclusively from central Ica hotels. Please opt for the pickup if you're staying in this area. Pickup occurs between 3:30 and 3:45 pm, with the overall activity concluding between 6:30 and 7 pm.

If your accommodation is located elsewhere, please choose the option without pickup and arrive at the Casa de Bamboo hotel at the Huacachina oasis by 3:45 to 4 pm. The non-pickup option will finish between 6 and 6:30 pm.

Duration Variability

This experience typically spans over 2 hours. However, on specific special dates, the duration may be shortened to 45 minutes or 1 hour:

• Easter Week
• National holidays on July 27, 28, 29, and 30
• Fiesta del Señor de Luren: October 20 and 21 (subject to change)
• New Year's holidays: December 28, 29, 30, and 31 and January 1
