Details of the Transfer

At the agreed time, we will rendezvous at the primary pier in Vila do Abraão, also referred to as the wooden pier. From this point in Ilha Grande, we will embark on a boat. Let's set sail!

After approximately 20 minutes of sailing, we will arrive at our next stop to meet our driver, who will assist us with the next leg of the journey to Galeão airport in Rio de Janeiro. In the absence of heavy traffic, this drive should take around 2.5 hours. Upon reaching the airport, we will swap vehicles to continue onward.

Our journey will then lead us to São Pedro de Aldeia, where we will change vehicles once more before heading toward Arraial do Cabo. The total travel time to our final destination is estimated at around 3.5 hours.

Once we complete this journey of roughly 8 hours, we will deliver you to your accommodation in Arraial do Cabo.

As a quaint fishing village, Arraial do Cabo has become increasingly popular in Brazil due to its stunning beaches. Nestled in the Lagos region of Rio de Janeiro and in proximity to other leisure destinations like Cabo Frio and Búzios, it serves as an idyllic escape to unwind and savor the local cuisine of Rio de Janeiro.

The area's crystal-clear waters make it a prime spot for snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts. Notably, Arraial do Cabo is often dubbed the scuba diving capital of Brazil. If you're keen on exploring its marine biodiversity through these activities, consider visiting Ilha do Farol or Forno Beach. For the more seasoned divers, Gruta Azul or Pontal Beach are worth exploring, even though they may be busier, they are fantastic for snorkeling!

Luggage Guidelines

Each traveler may bring 1 medium suitcase (dimensions: 67 cm (26.3 in) high, 48 cm (18.8 in) wide, and 27 cm (10.6 in) long) or 1 small suitcase (dimensions: 55 cm (21.6 in) high, 40 cm (15.7 in) wide, and 25 cm (9.8 in) long) plus 1 personal item (like a backpack or a shoulder bag). Any additional luggage not meeting these criteria will incur a 100 BRL surcharge per journey.
In cases of excess luggage, prior notification of 24 hours is required. If this notice is not provided, the driver will determine boarding allowance based on the number of passengers and available vehicle space.
Items classified as special luggage, such as surfboards, baby strollers, and foldable wheelchairs, must also be reported in advance, as an extra fee of 100 BRL applies, subject to space availability.
For difficult-to-access accommodations where a support vehicle is necessary, passengers should assist with the transportation of their luggage between vehicles.
Passengers are fully responsible for their luggage at all times.

Please be aware that the stop in São Pedro da Aldeia to switch vehicles can last up to 45 minutes.

Boarding Fee

Please be aware that a boarding fee of 10.30BRL per person must be paid on the day of the activity. The fee does not apply to local residents, registered service providers, people with disabilities, children under 5, or seniors over 60.

Luggage Policy
