Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of Sri Lanka on this exclusive day trip to the Horton Plains National Park. The journey features breathtaking views of extensive tea plantations, picturesque waterfalls, and much more along the way.

Activity Overview

Your adventure begins with a 7 am pick-up from your accommodation in Kandy. We will then embark on a scenic drive in a private vehicle through the heart of the countryside.

After approximately three and a half hours, we will arrive at the stunning Horton Plains National Park. Upon exiting the vehicle, you will be greeted by the lush green vistas that envelop the area.

Prepare for a leisurely hike through this extraordinary landscape, where you can expect to encounter some of the fascinating wildlife that calls this place home. Keep your eyes peeled for the vibrant Wali Kukula bird, frequently spotted in this region. You might also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the majestic leopards that roam the park!

After our exploration of the park, the guide will assist you in selecting a suitable restaurant for lunch (meal not included), allowing you to refuel before we proceed with our itinerary.

Once we are refreshed, we will head towards Nuwara Eliya, renowned as the capital of the tea industry in Sri Lanka. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about the intricate process behind the production of the world's favorite beverage, from the tea leaf picking to its journey to your cup.

Our return trip to Kandy will commence afterward, with expected arrival between 7 pm and 9 pm, depending on traffic conditions.
