Helicopter Tour to Everest Base Camp
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation, followed by a trip to the airbase. Once there, you'll board a helicopter for an unforgettable ascent up near one of the highest peaks on the planet.
After making a brief stop for refueling at Lukla airport, we will soar above the iconic Khumbu Valley, where you can spot well-known landmarks like Mount Everest, Mount Pumori, Mount Nuptse, and Mount Lhotse. Following approximately 25 minutes of breathtaking scenery, we will reach Pheriche, one of the Everest Base Camp locations, where you can exit the helicopter to capture stunning photographs.
Next, we’ll reboard the helicopter and head towards the Everest View Hotel. As we descend, take the time to relish a 360-degree view of the magnificent peaks in the UNESCO-listed Sagarmatha National Park. You will have 45 minutes to appreciate your surroundings, enjoy breakfast (not included), or simply take in the awe-inspiring landscape.
Our journey concludes with a return flight to the airbase, followed by transport back to your hotel in Kathmandu.
Key Information
- The entry fee for Everest National Park (Sagarmatha National Park) is not included in the tour cost. On the day of your excursion, you will need to pay $32 per person.
- The helicopter accommodates a maximum of 5 passengers. Due to limited availability, early booking is highly recommended.
- In the event of flight cancellations due to unfavorable weather, a full refund will be provided for the tour cost.
From Pheriche, we operate two shuttles. Each helicopter can hold up to 5 passengers, so we will conduct two trips to Kalapatthar and Everest Base Camp, with the first shuttle carrying two people and the second carrying three. After everyone is collected, we will fly to the Everest Hotel for a scenic view with breakfast.

The guide will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time. Please be ready a few minutes beforehand.
It is important to dress warmly for this activity: the temperature at your destinations is 20ºC less than in Kathmandu. We also recommend wearing sun protection.
From Phiriche, we're running two shuttles. Since each helicopter has a capacity of 5 people, we'll run two shuttles to the Kalapatthar and Everest base camp, with two passengers in the first shuttle and three passengers in the second. Then, we'll pick all the passengers up and fly to Hotel Everest for a view with breakfast.
