Activity Details

Your journey begins at La Fabriquilla Beach in Almería, where we'll embark on an unforgettable kayak expedition along the captivating coastline of Cabo de Gata.

After a brief orientation on the use of kayaks, you'll be ready to launch into the water and paddle eastwards. As you glide through the water, soak in the unique vistas of the local landscape.

Over the course of the 2-hour excursion, our guide will share intriguing insights regarding the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, including its history, wildlife, and geology. Following this informative segment, we will dive into the water for some snorkeling. Here, you might encounter vibrant schools of fish, rays, and, if luck is on your side, sea turtles.

After our snorkeling stop, our kayaking journey continues until we arrive at Las Sirenas reef. At this picturesque spot, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Cabo de Gata and its iconic lighthouse.

Finally, we’ll begin our return to the starting point, where we will bid farewell and conclude our tour.

Activity Requirements

• Participants must be competent swimmers and able to paddle independently.
• This activity is not recommended for individuals exceeding 264 lbs (120 kg), those with limited physical fitness, underlying medical conditions, mobility challenges, or pregnant individuals.

Meeting Point Change

Provided conditions are favorable, the activity will commence at La Fabriquilla Beach. However, in the event of unfavorable weather, we'll relocate to a nearby site such as Cuervo Cove or Agua Amarga Beach. If this occurs, you will be informed the day prior to your tour.
