Tour Overview

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation at the scheduled time, setting off for a thorough exploration of the key attractions in Cape Town. Prepare to discover Table Mountain and Robben Island!

The first stop will be at the harbor, where you will board a ferry for a scenic trip to Robben Island, a site rich in historical significance. After a brief ride of around thirty minutes, you will arrive at your destination.

A former political inmate will greet you upon arrival, ready to guide you through the island's gripping history. Together, you will tour the notorious prison that has been used for the segregation of various groups since the 17th century and served as a leper colony during the 19th and 20th centuries. One of its most notable former inmates was Nelson Mandela.

Following your time on Robben Island, you'll return by boat to Cape Town around 12:30 pm. You will then have an hour of leisure to enjoy a meal at a nearby restaurant before continuing with a guided exploration of the city's major landmarks.

During the tour, you will visit the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall, Slave Lodge, Zackarias Waganaer Reservoir, the House of Parliament, and Company Gardens. The excursion also includes a stop at Bo-Kaap, an area historically marked by segregation.

The tour will then take you to the summit of Signal Hill, where you will ascend via the cable car to reach Table Mountain in just three minutes! At the peak, enjoy stunning panoramas of Cape Town and the surrounding landscape from various observation points.

The day will conclude with a return to your hotel after approximately 9 to 10 hours of exploration.
