Amazon Hiking Adventure

Gathering will take place at 8 am in front of the Ethnographic Museum of Leticia, centrally located in the city. Once all participants have assembled, we’ll embark on a minibus journey to the surrounding Amazon rainforest, where we will begin to uncover the rich biodiversity of the lungs of our planet.

Following a brief session outlining safety protocols, our hiking adventure through the Amazon rainforest will commence, focusing on the native species while ensuring environmental respect. Depending on the difficulty level you choose, the paths will vary—ranging from smooth trails to steep and rocky routes. This promises to be an unforgettable experience!

As we wander through the jungle near Leticia, we’ll encounter stunning birds, various insects, and numerous other examples of the Amazon's wildlife. With some luck, we might even observe caimans from a safe vantage point. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to see hidden waterways and watch locals fishing in the nearby creeks.

During midday, we’ll take a moment to relax and enjoy a picnic lunch in the midst of the Amazon jungle. After spending eight hours immersed in this stunning natural landscape, we’ll make our way back to Leticia, marking the conclusion of the hiking journey.

Level of Difficulty

When you make your reservation, you will have the option to select the difficulty level for the hiking tour in Leticia. Even though the entire day will be dedicated to exploring the Amazon rainforest, the duration of the hike will vary: three hours for the easy option, five hours for the moderate choice, and eight hours for the advanced path.
