Ice Climb in Korouoma Canyon

Korouoma Canyon offers an exceptional environment for exhilarating ice climbing adventures. Beginning in Luosto, we will embark on a journey into this breathtaking Finnish wilderness for a full day filled with activity.

Activity Details

Your day will start with a pick-up from your hotel in Luosto at the scheduled time, after which we will board a minibus that will transport us to Korouoma Canyon, located approximately two and a half hours away. No need to worry about not having climbing gear; we will supply all the necessary equipment to ensure you can climb safely on the ice.

Upon arrival at the base of the canyon, we will park the bus and embark on a brief hike to reach Korouoma, considered the premier location for ice climbing in Finland. Once there, we will gear up and begin our ascent in the stunning icy gorge, adorned with magnificent frozen waterfalls.

After this exhilarating activity, we will take a restorative break by the fire, enjoying a delicious barbecue to refuel our energy. The day will conclude with our return to the initial departure point, totaling around 11 hours of adventure.
