On this day trip, you'll journey south to explore the dunes of Marapé, a unique paradise where the river meets the sea.

Day Trip Details

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Maceió, setting off to discover an impressive ecosystem in Alagoas: the Marapé Dunes.

We will board a vehicle for a journey of 65 kilometers (40 miles), driving along the coast of Alagoas and passing through the famous Jequiá da Praia municipality.

As we approach the dunes, we'll board a boat for a scenic ride down the Jequiá River, which is the only access to these spectacular sand dunes. After approximately 10 minutes on the water, we'll arrive.

Upon reaching the Marapé Dunes, you'll discover an ecological paradise nestled between Duas Barras Beach and the Jequiá River. This area is surrounded by mangroves that harbor an astonishing variety of native fauna and flora.

At the dunes, take time to sunbathe, relax in the warm waters, and engage in various activities offered, including an off-roading vehicle drive to Falésias de Jacarecica do Sul, a boat trip along the Jequiá River, and a mud bath.

The trip concludes approximately nine hours after your pickup, with a return to your hotel.
