Embark on a memorable cultural journey through Granada and Masaya, often referred to as the "Paris of Central America." This full-day excursion, commencing with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Managua at 8 am, invites you to delve into the vibrant heritage of Nicaragua.

The first destination is Masaya, recognized as the birthplace of Nicaraguan folklore. Here, you can explore the lively handicraft market, a treasure trove of traditional crafts and authentic products. It’s the perfect spot to find unique souvenirs to cherish your travels!

Our adventure continues into the White Villages region, where you'll learn about the interesting history behind their name. At a local pottery workshop, immerse yourself in the artistic techniques that date back to pre-Columbian times. Next, we will ascend to the Catarina Viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the Apoyo Lagoon, Mombacho Volcano, and Lake Nicaragua.

Arriving in Granada around 1 pm, we will uncover the enchanting history of this city by visiting the Convent of San Francisco and the famous La Merced Church. Climb the tower of La Merced for incredible panoramic vistas of the area.

While in Granada, take the opportunity to appreciate other significant sites such as the Church of Guadalupe, the Cathedral, and the Church of Xalteva. You will also enjoy half an hour to relish a delightful lunch in the historic city center.

As our enlightening day draws to a close, we will return to Managua, ensuring you are back at your hotel by 4 pm.
