Our nocturnal adventure in the Amazons begins with a pickup at your hotel in Manaus at the designated time. We will then head to the shores of the Rio Negro, where we will embark on a speedboat to explore the igarapés, the creeks winding through the Amazonian vegetation.

As the sun sets, we will enter the dark waters in a quiet environment. During the sail, sounds of nocturnal birds, water splashing, and branches cracking will accompany us. We will begin searching for alligators.

Keep an eye out for small red eyes appearing from the water, signaling the presence of an alligator. You will learn about their shining eyes and excellent night vision.

The guide will attempt to capture a young alligator briefly to show its features before gently returning it to its habitat without harm. You will learn fascinating facts about these reptiles, which can remain still for long periods.

If fortunate, you may also spot other wildlife in the Rio Negro, such as owls, kingfishers, and other jungle mammals. The Amazons at night are remarkable!

Finally, we will return to Manaus and drop you off at your hotel after 6 hours.
