Join us at Mosque Bab Doukkala for an engaging and enjoyable culinary experience in Morocco. Prepare to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Moroccan cooking as we commence our cooking class in Marrakech.

Before donning our aprons, we'll venture to a nearby souk to collect some fresh ingredients for our recipes. Strolling through the bustling stalls in the heart of Marrakech's Medina, we’ll choose from an array of meats, vegetables, fruits, and spices. With our ingredients selected, we'll proceed to a traditional riad within the Medina where the cooking will begin.

Upon entering the kitchen, we’ll start with a demonstration on the preparation of traditional Moroccan tea, a cultural emblem of the region. Together with our chef, we’ll savor a cup of mint tea as we discuss the three dishes we will create, which will include a starter, main course, and dessert.

With enthusiasm, we’ll dive into the cooking process, beginning with our starter dish, choosing from popular Moroccan options such as zaalouk, caramelized carrots, Moroccan salad, or zucchini with Chermoula Sauce. Next, we’ll prepare our main dish, a classic tajin, featuring either chicken or vegetables. Finally, we’ll create a delightful dessert, milk pastilla, a sweet pastry that embodies traditional Moroccan flavors. Delightful!

Throughout the class, we’ll gain insights into the essential ingredients that contribute to the unique flavors of each dish. As we complete our culinary creations, we'll sit down to enjoy our meals and sample all three dishes. Bon appétit!
