Excursion to Taormina and Castelmola

Our journey begins at the Messina port, where we board a bus destined for Castelmola, a charming medieval settlement perched at a height of one thousand seven hundred meters. The panoramic viewpoints here offer breathtaking vistas of Mount Etna - the highest volcano in Europe - alongside the stunning Giardini-Naxos bay.

Next, we will navigate through the most significant streets and sights, eventually reaching Taormina. Here, we will stroll along Corso Umberto, the city's main thoroughfare, where we can admire the remains of the ancient Roman road known as "Valeria".

This historic locale provides stunning views of the sea with the backdrop of the Etna volcano. During our time in Taormina, we will have the chance to explore various churches and ancient monuments, as well as visit exclusive shops, restaurants, bakeries, and gelato parlors, where you can indulge in a selection of local delicacies (cost not included).
