Hike Overview

Our adventure begins at the appointed time when we gather at Hotel Parque Mexico Boutique, situated in the vibrant area of Condesa. From this central location, we’ll board a comfortable minibus to embark on our journey to Tepoztlán, one of Mexico's most delightful Pueblos Mágicos. Over the next two hours, you'll hear interesting stories about the landscape as we travel.

To kick off the day, we will pause at a charming restaurant, where you can indulge in a traditional Mexican breakfast. This is a perfect opportunity to sample local delights such as chilaquiles, tamales, and a refreshing café de olla.

Following our meal, we’ll commence our hike to the summit of Cerro Tepozteco. The trek, spanning approximately three hours, will take us through the mountain's lush flora, offering breathtaking views of the valley as we ascend.

Upon completing our hike, we’ll return to the town and treat ourselves to one of Tepoztlán's celebrated specialties: artisanal nieves. With tempting flavors like mamey, zapote negro, and rose petals, you will surely face a delightful challenge in making your choice!

You’ll also have 50 minutes of free time to wander the picturesque cobblestone streets, visit the Tepoztlán Ex Convento Museum, browse the artisanal market, and relax with a drink of your choice.

At the designated time, we’ll reconvene in front of the town's church to return to Mexico City. We will conclude our journey at the original meeting point, marking the end of a memorable 9.5-hour experience together.
