Embark on an enchanting journey to a unique Pueblo Mágico set in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains with this trip to Arteaga from Monterrey.

Activity Overview

On the designated morning of your excursion, we will collect you from your hotel in Monterrey. Following this, we'll commence our adventure towards the Pueblo Mágico ('Magic Town') of Arteaga.

Upon arrival, our first stop will be the irrigation canal flowing through the village. From there, we will continue our stroll through Alameda Square until we reach the remarkable Church of San Isidro Labrador, an 18th-century basilica noted for its impressive tall tower featuring four distinct sections.

If your excursion takes place on a Sunday, you will have the opportunity to wander through the traditional market, filled with local handicrafts and regional delicacies. You’ll have two hours of leisure time to enjoy lunch and shop for souvenirs.

Next, we will make our way to San Antonio de las Alazanas, a locale within the municipality of Arteaga celebrated for its thriving apple and quince orchards.

Not far from this area, we will explore the harvesting regions nestled in the Arteaga mountain range, where stunning panoramic views of the Sierra Madre Occidental await you.

As we head back, we will briefly stop at the village of Mesa de Tablas to appreciate the breathtaking landscapes of Coahuila. You will return to your hotel in Monterrey approximately 10 hours later.
