Photography Tour of Montevideo
At the scheduled time, we will convene at Avenida Uruguay, 857, launching our walking photography adventure across Montevideo. Our first destination will be the Plaza Independencia, the city's main square that serves as a gateway to the Old Town.
As we wander through the Old City and historic center, you'll have the opportunity to photograph notable buildings and landmarks, including the impressive Banco de la República Oriental del Uruguay. This is an ideal moment to enhance your Instagram collection!
Next, we will proceed to visit the Cubo del Sur and the Templo Inglés, concluding our route at Plaza Zabala. After approximately 1.5 hours of exploration, we will wrap up our journey at the bustling Harbour Market.
Audio Guide
On the eve of the tour, you will receive a password to download a private audio guide in English (compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile) that provides additional insights about the locations we will explore during the day.
Once you have installed the guide on your smartphone, you can access it during the tour without needing an internet connection, as it utilizes GPS technology. Prepare to discover some captivating stories related to the history of these remarkable monuments.
Photo Downloads
The images captured during the excursion will be professionally edited and made available for download approximately 72 hours post-tour. At the end of our experience, the photographer will provide instructions on how to access these photos once they are ready.

Informações importantes
At the designated time, we'll meet at the following address: Av. Uruguay 857, 11100 Montevideo, Department of Montevideo, Uruguay (next to the side door of the French Embassy; please do not ask the embassy staff, as we have no relationship with them; it's only a meeting point).
Please be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour starts.
The day before the activity, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to download the audio guide (please bring it with you on the day of the tour). If you have not received the email, please get in touch with the local provider.
- We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
- Should rain be forecast, the activity will be cancelled and rearranged, or refunded.
- We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
- It's recommended that you bring an identity document or passport.
- Don't forget to bring headphones and a mobile phone to be able to play the audio guide. You can download it for Android iOs and Windows Mobile.
Important
- Please note that all people attending the tour will have to pay. Accompanying people are not accepted.
- On the other hand, in the summer months the activity will take place under the sun, in areas where there is not much shade.
