The Keep

Free Admission Criteria

Entry to the Château de Vincennes is complimentary for specific groups:

Individuals aged 18 to 25 from the European Union
Children under 18 years of age, irrespective of nationality
Unemployed individuals, persons with disabilities, their companions, journalists, architecture students, tourism professionals, and military and police personnel.

Additionally, on the first Sunday of the month from January 1 to March 31, and from November 1 to December 31, as well as during the third weekend of September, free entry is extended to all.

How to Get There

Château de Vincennes metro station is located just opposite the castle. The stop is at the end of line 1 (yellow). Please note that this station is located outside Zone A, so the cost of the ticket is higher.
