Sainte-Chapelle & Conciergerie Tickets
Descrição
Explore two iconic landmarks in Paris in a single day and enjoy savings with access to both the Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie.
Sainte-Chapelle
Known as the "royal chapel of the Île de la Cité," Sainte-Chapelle is a stunning Gothic structure recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It boasts a remarkable array of polychrome stained glass windows, regarded as some of the finest in Paris. Even on overcast days, the light seeps through these extraordinary pieces, earning the chapel the nickname of "the little glass box" of the French capital.
The chapel also contains a remarkable collection of sacred artworks depicting the history of Passion relics, alongside scenes like the life of Saint John the Baptist and Genesis.
Sainte-Chapelle Opening Times
Your entry to the Sainte-Chapelle will be scheduled for the specific time you have selected.
Your visit to the Conciergerie should occur on the same day as your trip to Sainte-Chapelle and can be enjoyed at your convenience during the following operating hours:
- From April 1 to September 30: 9 am to 7 pm
- From October 1 to March 31: 9 am to 5 pm
Note that final admission to the Conciergerie is allowed one hour prior to closing. Please be advised that these schedules are subject to adjustment on select dates.
Entry is managed via 30-minute time slots. For instance, should your time be set for 10 am, you are permitted entry at that time or no later than 10:30 am.
It is advisable to visit Sainte-Chapelle in the morning to avoid peak crowds.
Conciergerie in Paris
This Gothic palace once stood as the residence of the French crown during the Middle Ages. However, it was converted into a prison during the French Revolution, where notably the infamous Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. You will have the opportunity to uncover the exquisite palatial chambers and remarkable architecture, alongside a descent into the cells where the last queen of France spent her latter days.
Your ticket to the Conciergerie includes a complimentary informational leaflet in English among other languages. You may also partake in guided tours conducted in French at no extra cost. These tours typically last around one hour, with varying schedules throughout the week. For those interested in a guided tour in French, inquiries can be made to the staff upon arrival.
Conciergerie Opening Times
You are invited to explore the Conciergerie on the same day of your visit to Sainte-Chapelle, between the hours of 9:30 am to 6 pm.
Final entry is permitted 30 minutes before closing time.
Brochure Languages
Your admission to the Conciergerie grants access to an explanatory brochure in English and other languages, along with a free guided tour in French. The schedule for this optional tour, lasting about an hour, varies daily. For information, kindly ask the Conciergerie staff upon entry.
Visiting with a HistoPad
Beginning August 10, 2021, visitors will receive a HistoPad upon entry. This interactive tablet offers insights into the monuments' histories via a range of infographics. Note that the HistoPad is available only until 4:15 pm.
