Exploring Atlixco & Chipilo

At the designated time, we will collect you from your hotel in Puebla to embark on a journey through two must-visit locations in this vibrant Mexican region.

Our adventure begins in Atlixco, renowned as one of Mexico's charming Pueblos Mágicos. We will first stop at the city's Zócalo, its vibrant main square, which features a colorful sign displaying the town's name. Following this, we will leisurely stroll through the historic center of Atlixco, visiting the Church of Santa María de la Natividad and the Municipal Palace, where we can appreciate its stunning murals.

Our next destination will be La Pasadita, where you’ll have the chance to savor typical Atlixco delights, including artisan bread, chocolate, and ice cream. Interestingly, the locals refer to ice cream as nieve (meaning "snow" in English).

Afterward, we'll ascend to the old Franciscan convent, where breathtaking views of Atlixco and Puebla await us. Our visit to this town will conclude at a nursery, showcasing a diverse array of flowers and fruit trees.

Subsequently, we will proceed to the quaint city of Chipilo, where a visit to a cheese factory awaits, allowing us to enjoy a tasting of Chipilo cheese paired with wine. Finally, we will return to Puebla, concluding the tour and dropping you off at your hotel approximately 5-6 hours after our departure.
