Our initial stop will be Umbrella Street, an artistic urban space where vibrant umbrellas create a captivating canopy overhead.

Continuing, we’ll wander through the delightful Doña Blanca Passage, a picturesque path adorned with soft hues and beautifully restored colonial structures. Who is Doña Blanca, and what significance does this location hold in the city’s heritage? As we walk, we will discuss the elegant and cosmopolitan life of 19th-century Puerto Plata.

The next highlight will be Central Independence Park, the city’s vibrant social hub, encircled by historic edifices and buzzing with daily activities. Here, you’ll have an opportunity to sample mamajuana and wine, gaining insights into the traditions and narratives that surround these beverages at your own cost.

We will proceed to the Amber Museum, where we will share insights about this remarkable gemstone, pivotal for placing the Dominican Republic on the global map.
