Experience a night in the Pyhä-Luosto National Park and immerse yourself in the spirit of an authentic Arctic adventurer. During this journey, you will discover essential survival techniques for harsh climates and learn to construct a self-made quinzee.

Overnight Survival Program in Pyhä

Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup at 1 pm, launching us into an exciting Arctic expedition to the remarkable Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Welcome to the enchanting landscapes of Lapland! We will pause in the magnificent snow-laden woods for an extraordinary survival workshop.

Here, we will be introduced to crucial gear for any expeditioner, including a sleeping bag, mattress, and insulated waterproof clothing. Following this briefing, we will savor a delightful Arctic-inspired meal featuring bread and sausages.

Once we’re reenergized, we’ll delve into the fascinating world of the Lappish igloo, known as the quinzee. With guidance from our instructor, we will grab our shovels and embark on the hands-on experience of constructing one ourselves!

After our hard work, it will be time to put our newfound skills to the test by spending the night inside our creation. Are you prepared for an unforgettable Arctic night? As dawn breaks, we will conclude our adventure with a warm breakfast, complemented by a hot drink and chocolate.

Our journey winds down with a return to your hotel around 9 am.
