At the scheduled time, we will assemble at Rotterdam Centraal Station, ideally situated in the city’s vibrant core. From this point, we will commence our exploration, leading us to some of the city’s most striking architectural feats and street art!

Did you know that Rotterdam is often referred to as the architectural capital of the Netherlands? This city boasts distinctive urban designs and structures, making it a one-of-a-kind destination in Europe, where the realms of art and architecture blend seamlessly.

As we wander alongside the Westersingel canal, we will encounter the largest gathering of public art found in Rotterdam. Here, you can admire exceptional sculptures by renowned artists such as Picasso, Roden, and Umberto Mastroianni, among others.

Our journey will then lead us to the museum district, where we will marvel at the new architectural gem, the Depot. This innovative building, adorned with 1,664 reflective plates, serves as the storage facility for the Boijmans Museum. Join us as we delve into the fascinating intricacies of this remarkable structure!

Subsequently, we will traverse Rotterdam's most artistic thoroughfare, Witte de With, before making our way to Plein 1940. There, we will pause to observe the monumental sculpture The destroyed city, which pays tribute to the devastating German bombing on May 14, 1940, that ravaged the medieval city center.

After an immersive 2.5 hours of discovery, we will conclude our tour near Rotterdam's iconic Market Hall.
