Adventure in Kayaking Through Glowworm Caves

We'll convene at the scheduled time at the Rotorua Information Centre. A shuttle will then transport you past the renowned Redwood forest to our lakeside launch point.

Upon arrival, we'll gear up for an unforgettable night. Your guide will conduct a safety briefing and provide basic kayaking instructions before we embark on our journey across the water.

Next, we'll set off along the shoreline as the sun sets. As darkness falls, our guide will lead you to secret caves teeming with marvelous glowworms. The bluish and white luminescence of these creatures will illuminate the caves, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.

On clear nights, the experience is further enhanced as the Milky Way comes into view, blanketing the sky above. Being on tranquil waters under a twinkling night sky is nothing short of extraordinary.

After our adventure, we'll return you to the initial meeting point. The kayaking portion spans approximately 1 hour, while the total experience, including transfers, lasts around 3 hours.
