The journey begins precisely at the scheduled hour, meeting at the Les Halles indoor market.

Following a brief introduction to this town within the Lapurdi region of the French Basque Country, our first stop will be the Church of St John the Baptist. This historic church is famous for hosting the marriage of Louis XIV and Maria Theresa of Austria, the daughter of Spain’s King Philip IV.
