Transfer Information
We will gather at your selected pickup location in Salvador de Bahia a half hour prior to the scheduled time. From there, we will proceed to the maritime terminal, where we'll board a boat destined for the enchanting island of Itaparica.
After a one-hour boat ride, we will arrive and transfer to a minibus that will take us to the Bom Jardim quay located in the city of Valença. A two-hour drive will follow, leading us to the port where we will embark on a speedboat for the final 15-minute trip to the port of Morro de São Paulo.
Upon reaching our destination, you will enjoy free time to wander through this paradise at your own pace. We suggest unwinding on the gorgeous white sand beaches or seizing the opportunity to engage in thrilling water activities, such as surfing and kitesurfing. You'll contemplate extending your stay!
Come and explore the well-known natural pools of Garapuá, indulge in a mud bath at Gamboa, navigate around the island of Tinharé by boat, or even sail to the nearby island of Boipeba, celebrated for its clear waters. The choice rests with you!
Pickup Schedule
The transfer includes hotel pickups in Salvador de Bahia or from the Salvador de Bahía airport, based on your selected option. The designated hotel pickup zones are as follows:
Hotel pickups will commence approximately 30 minutes prior to the time you booked.
Return to Salvador de Bahia
You have the option to book only the outbound transfer to Morro de São Paulo or a round trip. If you opt for the latter, please specify the date you wish to return to Salvador de Bahia, ensuring it is not the same day as your outbound trip. Returns will operate from the port of Morro de São Paulo at the following times: 6 am, 10 am, 12:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.
For your flight departure, we recommend the following schedules:
- Hotel pickup at 5 am and boat boarding at 6 am: for flights leaving Salvador between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm
- Hotel pickup at 11 am and boat boarding at 12:30 pm: for flights leaving Salvador between 7 pm and 9 pm
- Hotel pickup at 1:50 pm and boat boarding at 3:30 pm: for flights leaving Salvador from 10 pm onwards
Children Under 5
Note that children under 5 years of age can travel for free when accompanied by one paying adult. However, if there is more than one child under this age, a ticket must be purchased for each child aged 5-11 years.

Depending on the modality booked, this transfer includes pickup at your hotel in the following areas of Salvador:
The total journey time will be between 3 hours 15 minutes and 4 hours 15 minutes, depending on the final destination you chose when making your booking.
- Maritime terminal: 3 hours 15 minutes
- Central hotels: 3 hours 45 minutes
- Airport: between 3 hours 45 minutes and 4 hours 15 minutes
Important Info
- The pickup time at hotels starts 30 minutes before the time indicated in the reservation. The local tour company will get in touch with you beforehand to reconfirm the exact pickup time.
- Please note that, when switching vehicles (between minibus, boat, and speedboat), it's your responsibility to move your luggage.
- For pick-ups at the hotel or airport, we recommend you to be ready 10 minutes in advance.
- If you have to show up directly at the sea terminal, we recommend you to be there 30 minutes in advance.
- The provider is not responsible for any delays due to the client.
Luggage
You may bring a maximum of one 23 kg (50 lbs) suitcase and one 10 kg (22 lbs) suitcase per person.
Return to Salvador
If you've booked the option that includes the return to Salvador de Bahia, the schedules from the port of Morro de Sao Paulo will be as follows:
- 6 am: recommended for flights departing from Salvador between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm
- 12:30 pm: recommended for flights departing from Salvador between 7 pm and 9 pm
- 3:30 pm: recommended for flights departing from Salvador from 10 pm onwards
You must be at the Morro de São Paulo terminal 30 minutes in advance.
Fees & Additional Info
The tour does not include the pier fee. You must pay the amount in cash on the same day of the activity:
- For departures from Morro de São Paulo: 10BRL per person
Pickups and drop-offs are only made to hotels or inns, not to private homes or seasonal residential rentals. If you're staying in either of the latter two types of accommodation, the local provider will direct you to the nearest hotel where the transfer service is provided.
In addition, you'll need to pay the island access fee of 70BRL per person at the hotels.
