At the designated time, our team will meet you at Hubert-Sattler-Gasse 1, and together, we will depart from Salzburg towards the Berchtesgaden salt mines.

While en route, we’ll drive past the scenic Königseeache river and the historic Obersalzberg region, once home to notable figures of the Third Reich. Upon arrival at the mine, guests will be equipped with miner’s outfits to immerse themselves in this fascinating subterranean realm.

As we navigate the tunnels that were historically traversed by miners, we’ll provide insights into the extraction process of this valuable resource, detailing the daily lives and challenges faced by the workforce. One highlight of this experience is the chance to glide down the thrilling mining slides, sure to spark excitement.

The tour also includes a tranquil ride on a wooden raft across a salt lake, providing a unique view of the stunning underground environment. We will continue to traverse these captivating subway corridors aboard a mining train, gradually making our way back to the surface.

Before concluding our journey back to Salzburg, we will take a moment to explore the picturesque village of Berchtesgaden. After about 4 hours, we will return to the starting point and bid you farewell.
