Embark on an adventure through the stunning Ecovía do Vez nature reserve located in Sistelo. This hiking expedition promises an encounter with stunning landscapes, serene natural pools, captivating waterfalls, and so much more!

Hike Along the Vez River

We'll convene at Rua de Porta Cova in Sistelo to commence our thrilling journey on foot.

Our first steps will lead us along the valley adjacent to the town, allowing us to appreciate the area’s unique crop terraces that create a truly breathtaking vista. Following this, we will cross a medieval bridge to enter the remarkable Ecovía do Vez, a designated World Biosphere Reserve.

As we traverse the trail, we will stroll along wooden pathways with opportunities to pause and enjoy various natural pools perfect for a refreshing dip. Be prepared to encounter enchanting waterfalls along the way – remember to have your cameras ready!

Concluding our hike, we will return to Sistelo, where we will indulge in some traditional local snacks before wrapping up the experience at our initial meeting spot.
