Overview

Angels Landing is a renowned hiking destination accessed via the Zion Canyon shuttle. The hike includes a journey along the West Rim Trail with scenic canyon views, followed by Refrigerator Canyon and the Walter’s Wiggles switchbacks, culminating in a chains section leading to panoramic views of Zion Canyon.

Permits are included, and availability is subject to Explore Zion Tours' secured dates. A guided experience provides step-by-step instruction and safety awareness, enhancing your enjoyment of the hike.

Who Should Join

The tour is ideal for adventure seekers and those with a moderate fitness level. It is not recommended for individuals with medical conditions affected by physical activity or those with a fear of heights. The small group size is capped at 6 guests.

Itinerary

- Meet at the Zion South Pedestrian Entrance for safety reviews and waivers. - Walk to the Park Entrance and take a 20-minute shuttle ride to the Grotto. - Hike to Angels Landing, a 5.4-mile round trip with roughly 1,500' elevation gain, including notable sections such as Refrigerator Canyon and Walter’s Wiggles. - After the hike, return to the Grotto shuttle stop to explore Zion further or return to the Visitors Center. - The total duration of the tour is usually 5-6 hours.

15 minutes before the indicated time, we’ll meet at the south pedestrian entrance of Zion National Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/NUmduyDi1kiQcNJPA).

You’ll recognize the guide by a sign with the words Explore Zion Tours.
