Day 1: Taipei - Sun & Moon Lake

Your journey begins with a hotel pickup in Taipei between 7:30 and 8:30 am as part of this 5-day exploration of Taiwan. We will board a bus for a scenic three-hour journey to Sun and Moon Lake.

Once we arrive, enjoy a panoramic tour around the lake, taking breaks to soak in the breathtaking views. Highlights include visits to the iconic Wenwu Temple, the Ci’en Pagoda, and the traditional Thao tribe village. At the end of the day, we'll check in at our hotel for a restful night.

Day 2: Sun & Moon Lake - Kaohsiung

After savoring breakfast at the hotel, we’ll depart for Tainan, recognized as Taiwan's oldest city, rich in historical landmarks. Our exploration starts at Fort Zeelandia, established by the Dutch East India Company during their governance of western Taiwan.

Afterward, we’ll wander through Anping Old Street, where you can sample local delicacies. Following lunch, the journey continues to Kaohsiung, the largest city in southern Taiwan, where we'll explore the Fo Guang Shan Monastery before winding down at our hotel.

Day 3: Kaohsiung - Kenting - Taitung

Post breakfast, we’ll proceed south to Kenting National Park, a paradise showcasing rainforests, pristine beaches, and impressive mountains all in one location.

After taking in the stunning landscapes of Kenting, we will pause for lunch before heading to Taitung, where we'll unwind for the evening.

Day 4: Taitung - East Coast - Hualien

After breakfast, the day is dedicated to exploring the breathtaking eastern coast of Taiwan, often referred to as the island's 'last wilderness'. This area is abundant in diverse flora and fauna, remarkable caves, volcanic landscapes, and stunning coastal viewpoints, making it a photographer’s dream.

Our journey includes visits to notable spots such as Xiaoyeliu, Sansiantai, and Shitiping, wrapping up with a stay at our accommodations for the night.

Day 5: Hualien - Taroko - Taipei

Begin the day with breakfast before heading to the renowned King Car Whisky Distillery. Here, we’ll uncover the intricacies of whisky production, learning to identify quality through aroma and texture.

Next, we’ll visit the National Traditional Arts Centre, where various Taiwanese architectural styles are on display. Enjoy guided tours through its exhibits and workshops, featuring everything from puppet shows to pottery demonstrations.

The tour concludes as we return to Taipei, with drop-off at your hotel by 7 pm, marking the end of our incredible journey.
