We'll meet at your convenience, either at your hotel in Tarragona's downtown or at Baixada del Roser, and embark on a guided exploration of the old town.
During the visit, learn about the crucial role of Tarraco, as it was named in Roman times. Its archaeological sites, recognized by UNESCO, showcase the area's rich heritage as a World Heritage Site.
We will then approach the Roman walls, once stretching over 3.5 kilometers (2 miles), and continue through the heart of the city to reach the Forum. This area features the main cultural and religious structures of Tarraco, along with the remains of the circus where horse races were held. You'll be transported back to that fascinating era!
Next, we will visit the amphitheatre, beautifully situated by the beach. You'll appreciate the stunning view of this ancient site against the seaside backdrop.
The tour concludes after 2 hours at a central location of your choosing within the city.
