Our journey begins at the designated meeting point on Calle Benito Juarez. From there, we will embark on a guided visit to Taxco's key temples, stepping inside each structure to reveal the intriguing stories they tell. This experience is a must for those passionate about art and heritage!

The first highlight is the Templo de Veracruz, a 19th-century religious site erected in tribute to the revered Santo Cristo de la Veracruz, locally referred to as "El General." This image holds a significant place in Taxco's spiritual life.

Next, we will stroll through the enchanting streets of Taxco towards the Parish Church of San Miguel Arcángel, which is among the city's oldest, tracing its roots back to the 16th century, initially devoted to San Sebastián. Following this, we will visit the Chapel of San Nicolás, the beloved patron saint of Taxco. A delightful tradition occurs on his feast day: the distribution of rolled bread to celebrate his miraculous deeds!

The tour will then proceed to the Temple of the Holy Trinity and the exquisite Temple of Chavarrieta, celebrated for its architectural beauty within the region. Before concluding our visit, we will also explore the former Convent of San Bernardino de Siena, notable for housing the largest collection of saints' images within the city.

To cap off our memorable journey, we will step into the Church of Santa Prisca, a stunning colonial-era monument that serves as a true emblem of Taxco. After approximately 3 hours of exploration, we will bid farewell in front of this iconic site.
