Cordoba Day Trip

At the designated meeting time, we will gather in front of the Hotel Trent in Torremolinos to kick off your journey to the magnificent city of Cordoba. During the two-hour journey, you will learn about its legendary history, the splendor of the Caliphate, and Cordoba's significance during the Islamic period in Spain.

Upon arrival in Cordoba, you'll enter the city through the iconic Roman Bridge, which spans the Guadalquivir River. As you explore the picturesque Jewish Quarter, you'll follow the narrow whitewashed streets leading to the Synagogue, a stunning example of typical Mudejar architecture.

Not far from there, you will visit the architectural jewel of the city: the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba. Inside, you'll be mesmerized by its iconic "forest of columns" that appear to stretch endlessly. Your guide will share the notable history of the Mezquita while you admire this majestic structure.

After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore this World Heritage Site at your leisure. You might want to taste a traditional salmorejo or take a moment to appreciate the beautiful flower-filled courtyards for which Cordoba is renowned.

As the day comes to a close, you'll return to Torremolinos.
