Diving at Mar Menuda Beach

Discover the enchanting underwater world of Tossa de Mar through an incredible diving adventure at Mar Menuda Beach. Encounter barracudas, seahorses, and a variety of local marine species.

Description

At the selected time, we will gather in the heart of Tossa de Mar. From there, we'll enjoy a short and pleasant walk to the serene Mar Menuda Beach. Prepare yourself to plunge into the breathtaking emerald waters.

After fitting our snorkels, fins, and diving gear, we will embark on a 45-minute dive into the open sea. Gradually, in the rich waters of this region of the Costa Brava, you will witness schools of barracudas and lovely seahorses.

Dominating the landscape is the stunning medieval castle of Tossa de Mar, creating a picture-perfect setting. This captivating stretch of the Mediterranean is teeming with octopuses, cuttlefish, and lobsters. With a little luck and caution, we might encounter some of these creatures up close!

Afterwards, we’ll head back to the beach where we will search for more fish around the small rocky islet of L'Illa.

This diving experience will conclude 2.5 hours after our departure as we return to the initial meeting point.

Diving certificates

This activity is exclusively designed for divers holding a PADI Open Water certificate. If you lack this qualification, consider joining the snorkeling experience that requires no prior experience.
