Lempuyang Temple Private Day Trip

Embark on a journey to Pura Lempuyang, famously referred to as the Gates of Heaven, a stunning temple that stands as one of Indonesia's largest and most impressive sites during this exclusive private day trip.

Day Trip Overview

Your adventure begins with a prompt pickup from your accommodation, followed by an eastward drive into the scenic Karangasem region of Bali.

Upon arrival, your guide will escort you to the Pura Lempuyang temple, which honors the God of Peace. Prepare for a rewarding ascent of 1,700 steps leading to the iconic Gates of Heaven. This climb is truly rewarding as it offers breathtaking vistas of Mount Agung, an active volcano and the tallest peak on Bali.

After exploring the temple, we will venture to the Mahagangga Valley, an area filled with verdant mountains, serene rivers, rice paddies, and an array of flowering plants.

Next, our private excursion continues at Tirta Gangga, the grounds of a historic royal palace. Here, you'll have the opportunity to wander through the scenic paths or hop across the stepping stones in the water. Tirta Gangga is an enchanting site ideal for a leisurely experience amidst stunning sculptures and fountains.

When you're ready, we will return to our vehicle and make our way back to your hotel, with arrival expected between 5 and 7 pm.

Pickup Information

Your day at Pura Lempuyang includes convenient pickup from hotels located in Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Jimbaran, Sanur, Ubud, Tanjung Benoa, and Nusa Dua. Should you be stationed outside these areas, please specify this at the time of booking, and we will reach out to arrange an appropriate pickup time and location.

For a more efficient transfer, we suggest accommodations in or near Ubud.

Exclusions

The entrance fees for Pura Lempuyang are not included in the tour price. Additionally, a small fee is required for entry to Tirta Gangga, approximately 3 USD for adults and free for children.

Attire Requirements

To access the temples, it is mandatory to don traditional attire, specifically a sarong. This garment can be purchased or rented on-site for around 0.7 USD.
