Imagine flying over the End of the World. This is your chance to become a helicopter pilot for the day in Ushuaia. You will even take the controls yourself!

Helicopter Pilot Course

At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your hotel in Ushuaia and taken to the helicopter base, where you will start your course to fly over the stunning landscapes of Tierra del Fuego while piloting the aircraft.

An experienced pilot will welcome you upon arrival and provide a 1-hour lesson on the basic fundamentals of flight. You will perform a complete aircraft inspection to familiarize yourself with the controls before boarding the Robinson R44 helicopter, which you will pilot yourself. Are you ready for takeoff?

Once on board, you will take control of the aircraft. Experience the power of the engine, the response of the wind, and the unparalleled sensation of soaring above the breathtaking landscapes of the End of the World.

Throughout the activity, the pilot will be with you, supervising every move to ensure your confidence and safety. The 30-minute flight will allow you to practice the helicopter’s maneuvers, providing a smooth and precise flying experience.

From the helicopter, admire the valleys, lakes, and mountains of Patagonia. Unique views of the Beagle Channel and Mount Olivia await you. Is there a better way to fulfill a dream?

When it’s time to land, you will again show your skills at the controls. After the flight, we will take you back to your hotel, concluding the experience 3 hours after pickup.

Important Info

• The maximum permitted weight to participate in the helicopter pilot course is 125 kg (276 lb) per person.
• Participation is not allowed under the influence of alcohol or medication that affects coordination.
• The activity is subject to weather conditions. In case of bad weather, it will be rescheduled for another available date at no additional cost.
