Tour Overview

At the specified meeting point and time, we will commence our journey to Peñiscola, a charming town situated under two hours from Valencia. Notably, five locations from Game of Thrones were shot in this area!

Upon arrival, we will explore the historic center, where we will encounter examples of Muslim, Roman, and Templar structures while following the path of the ancient fortification that once safeguarded the city. Prepare for a journey through history!

We’ll then visit the Museum of the Sea and admire the striking Renaissance wall built during Philip II's reign. As we stroll through its narrow lanes lined with shops, we will pass the renowned Casa de las Conchas and uncover the story behind its stunning façade.

Our next stop will be the Peñiscola Castle, perched dramatically on a rock above the sea, which served as both a palace and a personal library for the enigmatic Pope Luna, a pivotal figure in Spain's religious history. Our guides will enlighten us on his significance during our visit!

We will then proceed to the beach of Peñiscola, granting you some leisure time to sample the local cuisine.

After a full day of exploration in this charming town of Castellón, we will make our way back to Valencia, where we will arrive approximately eight hours later.
