Hiking Adventure in São Jorge

At 9 am, we will collect you from your accommodation in São Jorge and transport you to the viewpoints of Fajã do Ouvidor and Fajã dos Cubres, where you'll be treated to stunning views of the Azorean landscape.

Your journey continues in Beira, where we will stop by a local cheese factory. While savoring this delightful cheese, you'll learn about its award-winning history and protected designation.

After this indulgent experience, we will embark on a breathtaking trek through valleys adorned with vibrant hydrangeas, heather, and distinctive holophytic flora. The path leads us past the renowned fajãs situated by the coastline, showcasing an incredible geographical formation created by ancient lava flows.

At noon, we will take a break in the tranquility of nature to enjoy a wholesome picnic lunch, featuring a sandwich, fresh fruit, juice, water, and a traditional dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Reinvigorated, we will proceed towards the coast, making another stop at the viewpoint of Fajã do Ouvidor before descending to the Simão Dias natural pool. Here, you can delight in a refreshing swim in the striking emerald waters that characterize the Azores.

Our remarkable hiking adventure will conclude back in São Jorge, where we will return you to your hotel by 4 pm.
