Tour of the Franciscan Route in Naolinco

Your adventure begins between 8:00 and 8:20 am, with a pickup from your hotel in Veracruz, setting the stage for a two and a half hour drive through the stunning Naolinco Mountain Range.

Throughout the trip, we will pause to explore significant landmarks, including the Xalapa Fortress and a selection of Franciscan churches. Your knowledgeable guide will share insights into the arrival of the Franciscan order to this region alongside many intriguing stories.

Upon reaching Naolinco, we will disembark from the minibus and embark on a guided excursion through "the jewel of Veracruz." Walk along charming streets as we visit key sites, such as the House of Culture and San Mateo Church.

After this enlightening tour, you will have an hour of free time to enjoy lunch (not included) at one of the nearby restaurants. This is a fantastic chance to indulge in the rich and diverse local cuisine.

Feeling revitalized, we will then visit the Naolinco Market, where you can shop for exquisite handmade souvenirs to take home.

Your excursion concludes with our return to your hotel in Veracruz, estimated around 6:00 pm.
