Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head off towards the vehicles for a quad bike tour of Zanzibar. Before starting, we'll give you a brief safety introduction to ensure you're well-versed on operating these powerful vehicles. Start your engines!

Our journey begins on dirt track roads surrounded by lush vegetation. We'll drive through clove, cinnamon, and mango plantations, inhaling the sweet aromas as we navigate the sprawling landscapes.

During the tour, you will learn about the history of the spice trade on the island. We will also make a stop to taste freshly picked tropical fruits like papaya and pineapple—a real delight for your senses!

Next, we will proceed to a traditional village, where locals will welcome us warmly. Here, you can observe how coconut ropes are crafted and how rice is cultivated in the fields. We’ll even visit a local home to learn more about their lifestyle and share cookies with the local children.

The route will then lead us through sugar cane fields and a lively fish market, providing a glimpse into the everyday life of local fishermen.

Lastly, we will reach a secluded beach with brilliant turquoise waters. Here, you can capture stunning photographs and unwind for a while before we make our way back.

Finally, after approximately 5 hours, we will return to the starting point, bringing our adventure to a close.

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in Kiwenga. If you're staying outside this area, we'll meet you at the Kiwenga Police Station.

Requirements

Each quad has a maximum capacity for 2 occupants: a driver and a passenger. Both individuals may take turns driving the vehicle if they meet the necessary requirements.
To drive the quad, a valid driving license is required.

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Zanzibar. Please be ready to go, in reception, at least 10 minutes in advance.

Please note that this activity only includes pickup from accommodations located in Kiwengwa. If you're staying outside this area, we'll meet instead at the Z Quad Explorer office, next to the Kiwenga police station. You can see the exact location at the following link.
