If you are a fan of winter sports, this day trip to Grindelwald from Zurich presents a fantastic opportunity to partake in a beginner's skiing lesson at Bodmi Arena. Experience the beauty of the Swiss Alps like never before!

Description

We will convene at the Sihlquai bus station parking lot at the designated time, from where we will journey into the heart of the canton of Berne.

Our first stop will be a snow sports shop situated in Interlaken. Once we have gathered all the necessary equipment, we will proceed to the renowned Bodmi Arena, a top-tier ski resort nestled in Grindelwald. Should weather conditions require it, alternative nearby resorts will be selected for our lesson.

The Bodmi Arena Resort in Grindelwald encompasses approximately 6000 square meters and features 22 slopes, making it a well-known destination in the Jungfrau region. Our skiing lesson will take place in the beginner's areas, tailored for those who are new to winter sports.

The skiing class is scheduled to last around 2.5 hours and will be capped at 8 participants to ensure personalized attention. You will be introduced to fundamental skills such as snow ploughing and stopping effectively while skiing. With consistent practice, you will find that mastering them is quite attainable!

Following the ski class, you’ll have the remainder of the day to explore and enjoy the Bodmi Arena and its beginner slopes. Our trip will conclude with a return to Interlaken for the gear return, and thereafter, we will head back to Zurich, wrapping up our adventure after a total of 12 hours.

Meeting Point

This tour will depart at the time indicated from the Sihlquai bus terminal parking lot, located at 2 Limmatstrasse, in front of the Fred Hotel. Please be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

How to Arrive at the Meeting Point

The Sihlquai bus terminal can be easily reached by public transport: take tram lines 4, 6 or 13 to the Sihlquai/HB stop. Alternatively, Zürich Hauptbahnhof (main train station) is a 10-minute walk away from the Sihlquai Bus terminal parking.
