We'll gather at Rruga Mihal Komnena Street at the scheduled time to commence this complimentary tour of Berat, famously known as the "City of a Thousand Windows". Curious about the origin of this title? Join us to uncover the story!

Prepare for a journey back to the 15th century, as we delve into the Ottoman heritage of the city and appreciate the unique architectural styles found throughout its various districts. This ancient city, one of the oldest in Albania, boasts three historic neighborhoods: Mangalem, Gorica, and Kalaja.

During our exploration of the old town, we will encounter the King's Mosque, the Red and White Mosques, the Trinity Church, and the Halveti Tekke.

Next, we will proceed to the historic center, recognized as a World Heritage Site. Our path will take us across Republic's Boulevard towards Berat Castle, a fortress that houses remarkable examples of Byzantine art.

After our visit to the castle and its impressive artifacts, we will make our way back to the heart of Berat, concluding the free tour approximately 2.5 hours after our journey began.
