Experience an enjoyable gathering aboard a catamaran while cruising towards and discovering the beautiful Saona Island. A buffet lunch, open bar, music, and a great atmosphere are part of the experience!

Saona Island Catamaran Adventure

Your journey begins at 7:30 am when we will pick you up from your hotel in Boca Chica and transport you to Bayahíbe. Once there, we'll embark on a catamaran ride to the idyllic Saona Island, recognized as one of the Dominican Republic's most stunning spots. Its breathtaking Caribbean scenery promises to leave a lasting impression. This destination is also a part of the Cotubanamá National Park, celebrated for its natural beauty.

As you sail, feel free to soak up the sun or dance to the rhythms on the catamaran's deck. An open bar is available onboard, offering water, a selection of sodas, and, of course, a sampling of delicious Dominican rum.

Upon reaching the picturesque shores of Saona, a delightful buffet lunch will be served on the beach. The menu features traditional Creole dishes, including a variety of fresh fish, meats, salads, rice, pasta, and tropical fruits, along with mineral water and soft drinks.

After lunch, you'll have the opportunity to unwind on the golden sands before returning to the catamaran to explore another part of Saona Island. Our next stop is Las Palmillas beach, where you'll enjoy 40 minutes of leisure time to swim.

Our adventure continues as we sail through the Caribbean Sea, pausing for 30 minutes to take a refreshing swim and observe the starfish that inhabit the area. During this picturesque break, we will raise another toast with some exquisite Dominican rum.

At the conclusion of the excursion, we will bid farewell to the catamaran crew and return by boat to the Bayahíbe dock. From that point, we'll take a bus back to your hotel in Boca Chica, arriving around 6 pm.

Transport By Catamaran or Speedboat

The excursion will start with a catamaran journey to Saona Island and return via speedboat, although the sequence may vary. On some occasions, we may depart by speedboat from Boca Chica and return by catamaran.
