At the Plazoleta del Rosario, you'll learn about the history of the statue that pays homage to Gonzalo Jiménez de Quezada, the city's founder, during his search for “El Dorado”.

The guide will be waiting for you with a red umbrella in front of the Gold Museum (Carrera 6), Bogotá. We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before the indicated start time. Your guide will wait for 15 minutes, but if you are later, your booking will be marked as a no show.
