Our adventure begins at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, situated just 40 minutes from downtown Chengdu. During a 2.5-hour guided tour, you'll immerse yourself in the world of these fascinating animals.

Observe pandas of varying ages, from the charming pink babies to adults measuring 4.92 ft (1.5 m) in height. Watch these playful animals as they climb, frolic, and relax, and you're sure to be captivated by their endearing behaviors!

Next, we will journey south to the striking Leshan Giant Buddha, an enormous stone statue carved more than 1,200 years ago. After approximately 2.5 hours of travel, we'll arrive at this remarkable site alongside the Min River. Prior to our visit, you'll have a chance to grab lunch at your convenience.

Post-lunch, we'll dedicate 2 hours to wandering around the Giant Buddha's vicinity. This towering figure, measuring 236 ft (72 m) tall, is a representation of Maitreya, the Buddha of the future. Stroll along the cliff's path, navigate the famous "Nine Curves" trail, and make your way to the base of this monumental statue to appreciate its grandeur from numerous perspectives.
