At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel in Colonia del Sacramento and embark on a journey to the vineyards and olive groves of Quintón, located merely 30 minutes from the city, where the art of winemaking and olive oil extraction thrive in a picturesque rural landscape.

Your journey will kick off with an engaging video presentation, designed to provide insight into the processes of olive oil extraction and wine production, setting the stage for the vineyard tour.

Following this, you will wander through the vineyards and olive groves, witnessing their role in a balanced ecosystem that supports various local flora and fauna.

Accompanied by a serene lagoon, perfect for birdwatching, we will discuss the unique agronomic aspects of cultivating olives and grapes. You will learn how soil conditions, moisture levels, and plot orientation significantly impact the quality of the olives and grapes harvested.

Your exploration will then take you to the olive oil mill, which boasts state-of-the-art technology. Here, we will go over the different phases involved in producing olive oil, from the arrival of the harvested fruit to the extraction process.

Next, we will visit the gravity-flow winery, an impressive facility with three underground levels designed to move wine using gravity. This method allows the grapes and must to be handled with great care, making this establishment unique in the area!

To conclude the visit, you will partake in a delightful tasting of local olive oils and three wines from Quintón, paired with a variety of cheeses, charcuterie, breads, olives, and nuts.

Your experience will wrap up after three hours, after which we will return you to your hotel.

For those wishing to indulge in a complete meal at the winery, there’s the option to book this experience. In this instance, following the tour, we will gather in the restaurant to enjoy a set menu that includes:

• Appetizer: a basket of artisanal breads accompanied by a tasting of two extra-virgin olive oils.
• Starter choices include: a bread skewer with creamy cheese, roasted tomatoes, and basil; a bread skewer with creamy cheese, ham, and pistachios; vegetable consommé; or salmon on a bed of mixed greens, paired with a Bruna Bianca white wine.
• Main course options: beef steak with carrot and coconut purée or roasted pumpkin purée; raviolones filled with ricotta, spinach, and walnuts served with either filet sauce, Bolognese sauce, or cream cheese sauce; or quinoa croquettes with roasted vegetables, all complemented by a Bruna del Plata Malbec red wine or a Petra Malbec-Tannat blend.
• Dessert selections include: Basque cake with red berries; pancakes drizzled with dulce de leche; or the Quintón dessert (an olive oil ice cream with white chocolate over a crunchy base and a Malbec emulsion), paired with a Reserva Bruna Insignia Malbec-Malbec red wine.
