Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation, after which we will depart from Chachapoyas, traveling northeast towards Lamud. Along the way, we will pass the quaint villages of Cochechan and Cruz Pata, leading us to embark on a 30-minute hike to the renowned Karajia Sarcophagi.

This intriguing location is home to pre-Incan sculptures housing the mummified bodies of individuals from the 15th century. Nestled along a cliffside, these sarcophagi have withstood harsh weather conditions, ensuring their preservation for centuries.

As noon approaches, we'll take a break for a satisfying lunch in Lamud, featuring an appetizer, a main dish, and a beverage to refuel our energies for the next part of the adventure.

Next, we will journey through the lush Peruvian jungle to uncover the beauty of the Quiocta Caves. Inside these majestic formations, the striking stalactites and stalagmites adorn the cave ceilings. Our exploration will also unveil archaeological remnants of pre-Incan burial sites alongside cave paintings attributed to the Chachapoyan civilization.

Having immersed ourselves in the cultural legacy of the Chachapoyas, we will return to your hotel in Chachapoyas, concluding the experience approximately 10.5 hours after your initial pickup.
