Excursion to Corda, Coculi & Figueiral de Cima

Your adventure begins at 9 am, as you are collected from your hotel in Ribeira Grande. Following this, a minibus will whisk you away to the picturesque settlement of Corda, nestled within the interior region of Santo Antão.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted with breathtaking views from this charming village, situated in the midst of the Cova Natural Park. The impressive outline of the Cova de Paul volcanic crater and its surrounding lush flora provide a perfect backdrop.

To immerse yourself in the landscape, you will embark on a three-hour hiking journey that leads you along dirt paths and through agricultural terraces, showcasing the local produce. This hiking experience promises to leave a lasting impression!

Following your hike, you'll board the minibus again, heading to Figueiral de Cima and Terrinha Vermelha, two villages located in the most isolated areas of Santo Antão. As you take in the verdant valleys and traditional Cape Verdean homes, your next stop will be the unique village of Coculi.
