Hiking in Huerquehue National Park

Starting at 8 am, we will collect you from your accommodation in Pucón and transport you to the stunning Huerquehue National Park, a beautifully preserved area within the Chilean region of Araucanía.

Our journey begins as we traverse the park's enchanting forests. Here, we will marvel at the majestic thousand-year-old monkey-puzzle trees, which stand as one of the area's most significant natural wonders. While wandering among these giants, we will delve into the factors that contribute to the success of this unique botanical species, prevalent throughout South America.

Huerquehue National Park is renowned not only for its magnificent Araucaria trees but also for its stunning lakes. On our hiking path, we will visit the serene Tinquilco, Verde, Toro, and Chico lakes, taking in the vibrant flora that envelops them.

As we progress, we will encounter a diverse array of plant life, including the coigüe and lenga trees. Additionally, we will uncover details about the park's wildlife, home to unique species including Darwin's frogs and pudus, the world's tiniest deer.

Following this memorable trek, we will return to our starting location before heading back to Pucón, aiming to arrive by 1 pm.
