The Glasgow sightseeing bus provides a unique opportunity to experience the city's top attractions in a relaxing and enjoyable manner. With its dual-level design and retractable roof, it offers a fresh perspective of Glasgow.
Route & Stops
This sightseeing service features two main routes:
- Red route: This route spans approximately 80 minutes and includes 21 stops. Key locations along the route encompass George Square, Glasgow Cathedral, Merchant City, Barras Market, Glasgow Green, St Vincent Place, Riverside Museum, Glasgow University, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and Charing Cross.
- Yellow route: Operational exclusively from April to September, this route has 24 stops and a total journey time of 90 minutes. Highlights along this route include McLennan's Arch, Celtic Park, Barrowland, Ibrox Stadium, and the Riverside Museum.

How Does it Work?
Passengers have the option to purchase either a 24-hour or a 48-hour ticket.
During the ticket's validity, you can hop on and off the buses at your convenience, allowing you to explore attractions such as George Square, Glasgow University, Pollok Park, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and Kelvin Park.
Additional Info
While you will be prompted to choose a starting date at the time of booking, the service can be utilized anytime within a full year from the date selected. A voucher will be emailed to you, which needs to be printed and presented upon boarding your first bus.
Schedule & Frequency
The Glasgow Hop-On Hop-Off bus operates daily throughout the year, except on December 25 and 26 and January 1, following this schedule:
Red route
- March 25 – May 26: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
- May 27 – August 20: 9:30 am to 5 pm
- August 21 – November 2: 10 am to 4:30 pm
- From November 3 onwards: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
Yellow route
- April to September: 9:45 am to 4:15 pm
Buses operate every 30 minutes.
Family Ticket
A family ticket is available for 2 adults and 3 children aged between 5 and 15 years.
